At West Side Gymnastics School, the safety of our students is our top priority, even when they are enjoying trampolines at home. We understand the fun and excitement that trampolines can bring, but it's important to ensure that they are used safely to prevent any accidents or injuries. Our trampoline safety program provides guidelines and tips for parents and children to follow to ensure a safe and enjoyable trampoline experience at home.

  • Springs can brake and tramp beds can rip.  Always take a second to look and see if parts need to be replaced.

  • Have rules established for bouncing on the trampoline.  Make sure visitors and friends understand the rules.

Trampoline Safety Tips

Proper Supervision

Always supervise children when they are using the trampoline. Ensure that there is only one person jumping at a time and that younger children are not allowed to use the trampoline without adult supervision.

Safety Net Enclosure

Consider investing in a safety net enclosure to prevent falls and injuries. It provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind for parents.

Regular Maintenance

Regularly inspect the trampoline for wear and tear, and ensure that all parts are functioning properly. This includes checking the springs, frame, and safety pads.

Safe Landing

Teach children how to land safely on the trampoline to prevent injuries. This includes instructing them to bend their knees when landing and not to attempt flips or tricks beyond their skill level.  Most injuries happen on trampoline becuse of bad landings.  Rolling an ankle, jamming an arm, Jarring your back, head landings.
